The calculator is especially useful during lab activities because it provides very quick solutions to math problems. In language arts the computer is beneficial because when typing a paper the writer can receive immediate feedback on spelling and grammar. In order to teach our students the importance of technology we must demonstrate the benefits of technology in our classrooms.

Teachers can use data from one school year in order to make appropriate decisions for the following school year. Teachers can analyze data about assessment scores in a particular area and determine whether or not the teaching strategies they used worked or not. Keeping data can be a very useful management tool because it helps the teacher stay organized.

These classrooms also allow students to make presentations or videos for assignments, rather than writing essays all the time.
